  1. What is the significance of the Black Belt?
    According to the “MEANING OF THE BELT COLORS”, black represents the opposite of white, therefore, signifying the maturity and proficiency in Taekwon-Do. It is also indicative of the wearer's imperviousness to darkness and fear.

    As a black belt, the practitioner realizes the importance of his/her accomplishment and the responsibility that accompanies it. They must serve as a role model inside and outside the do jang, possess a mastery of the fundamental movements in Taekwon-Do, be an example of the tenets of Taekwon-Do and display humility and leadership qualities.
  2. What is the meaning of HWA-RANG?
