IMPORTANT DATES

• APRIL 11th: Taekwon-Do & Sabum Nim Monica’s Bday!

USTC Color Belt Testing

Color Belt Testing will be held on Saturday, May 3rd at 9:30am.
Testing booklet & fee must be submitted to Sabum Nim Allen 3 days prior to testing.

Class Information

Black Belt Classes

BB class will be held on April 12th and 26th from 9:30am - 10:30am.

Note: USTC students are required to attend at least 15 black belt classes per year.

Street Clothes Class

On April 19th, for the 10:30am class all students will train in their street clothes.

Taekwon-Do & Sabum Nim Monica's Birthday

Don’t forget to wish Sabum Nim Monica and all of the senior ranks happy birthday as they both celebrate on April 11th!

MS Walk - Art Museum

Registration for the 2008 MS Walk on May 4th has already begun. Please pick up your Team Registration form at the dojang and return to the office. Please note that in order to participate and receive a team shirt and transportation to the walk, all participants must raise a minimum of $25.00.

• May 17-18: Red Tiger Cup - Philadelphia, PA
• October 2008: 4th ITF World Cup - Italy

Future of America Scholarship

The Future of America Scholarship ($500.00) will be awarded to one black belt that excels academically and competitively. All applicants must submit a written essay explaining why they deserve consideration. Recent grades must also be submitted along with the essay by APRIL 30th. Please email to Sbn Marcello at tigerrojo@aol.com.

The scholarship is to be used for competition in one of the following event:

• World Cup – Italy (October 15 - 19)

Red Tiger TV Interview

Red Tiger Taekwon-Do has been invited as special audience guests on the 10! on Wednesday, April 30th to promote the 2008 MS WALK. 25 students will be selected to take part. If you are interested, please contact Sbn Marcello to be added to the list.

Please keep in mind that this is during school hours and you will have to be at the dojang by 9:00am and miss school / work that day.

Also, Red Tiger has been asked to appear on Puerto Rican Panorama (channel 6) on May 6th. Filming will be at 3 pm after the MS Walk. Interested students should contact Sbn Marcello.
